New Year Holiday Extended to 3 Days Instead of 2
The National Assembly is discussing a proposed law from the government today, November 16, which suggests that non-working days for the New Year holidays will be set for December 31, January 1, January 2, and January 6. The initial draft accepted in the first reading included January 2 as a working day. The Minister of Economy stated, "As a result of discussions, we have presented a revised draft for the second reading, proposing to designate the New Year holidays as December 31, January 1, and January 2, as well as January 6, making them non-working days."
