Husband Found Murdered at Home, Two Arrested

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has launched a criminal case under the first part of Article 104 of the Criminal Code regarding the murder of a 54-year-old resident of Yerevan, with investigative and procedural actions being carried out to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

According to the Investigative Committee, a citizen reported the incident to the Kanaker-Zeytun police department on November 15, 2021, at 09:25 AM, indicating that they had found their husband dead at their home on Fanarjyan Street.

Upon examination of the crime scene, the body of the deceased man was discovered with bodily injuries. Blood-like traces were also found, samples have been collected, and a forensic medical examination of the body has been ordered.

As a result of the undertaken measures, two men aged 47 and 45 have been arrested on suspicion of unlawfully and intentionally taking the life of the 54-year-old resident of Yerevan. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
