What Incident Actually Took Place? Artsakh National Security Service Provides Details

The National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh has reported information regarding an incident that occurred early in the morning on the Stepanakert-Lachin interstate road, near the checkpoint of Shushi city. In response to provocative actions by Azerbaijani servicemen, an unidentified individual threw an explosive device at the checkpoint area, after which the Stepanakert-Shushi-Lachin interstate road was closed in both directions.

The Artsakh law enforcement agencies, alongside the Russian peacekeeping forces, are conducting appropriate operational-investigative and criminal procedural measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Currently, the Stepanakert-Shushi-Lachin interstate road has been reopened in both directions, and there are no reported injuries or casualties among the citizens of Artsakh.
