When Will Moscow Vaccinate Children Aged 12 and Above? Second Phase of Trials Begins
Clinical trials for the "Sputnik M" coronavirus vaccine, intended for adolescents, have begun in Moscow. The third phase of these trials will involve 3,000 participants aged 12 to 17. This information was reported by TASS agency, referencing the Moscow mayor's official website.
"The third phase of clinical trials for the Covid-19 vaccine for adolescents has commenced in 10 polyclinics and two children's hospitals in Moscow. The participants will be individuals aged 12 to 17, totaling 3,000. Earlier this summer, the first and second phases of clinical trials began at two children's hospitals. The trials are expected to last for one year," stated Anastasia Rakova, the deputy mayor.
