Urgent: Muradov is Bringing the Bodies of Fallen Armenian Soldiers from Baku to Yerevan

South Caucasus Military District Commander Deputy, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov is expected to arrive in Yerevan from Baku this evening. According to Sputnik Armenia, referencing data from the Azerbaijani publication Caliber, he is bringing with him the bodies of Armenian soldiers who fell during clashes at the border.

Sputnik Armenia reports that there will be no prisoners aboard the aircraft.

The source states that Muradov will conduct negotiations aimed at developing mechanisms to prevent armed incidents between the parties. This pertains to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, which is outside the area of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers.
