Nikol is not ashamed. If this many police were on the Syunik highway, no one would dare to build a customs checkpoint. Gegham Manukyan
Yesterday, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan announced on Public Television that from today, the Azerbaijani side is installing customs checkpoints on the Goris-Kapan road. In connection with this, the protest action, which started near the government building, is ongoing, with an increasing number of citizens as well as police officers guarding the government building.
“They have brought hundreds of police here for their own safety. If there were this many police on the Syunik highway, no one would dare to build a hostile customs checkpoint,” said Gegham Manukyan, a member of the "Hayastan" faction, during the protest.
“Since yesterday, with the silent consent or treacherous collaboration of this capitulatory government, Turkish supremacy has been established on one of the most important highways of Armenia, the Goris-Kapan road. They are not ashamed of it; Nikol is not ashamed,” Manukyan stated.
“The so-called secretary of the Security Council was proud yesterday that he had built the best road in Syunik in 15 years. Only traitorous, capitulatory authorities can do that,” Manukyan added.
