VIDEO: Shots Fired on the Belarus-Poland Border

Today, shots were heard on the border between Poland and Belarus, where according to Polish government data, 3,000 to 4,000 migrants have gathered. This was reported by Lenta.ru.

Media sources are reporting gunfire at the border. Belarusian border guards claim that shots are being fired from the Polish side. The Poles deny this, while migrants have set up a camp right near the barbed wire and are lighting bonfires.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has called on EU countries to expand sanctions against Belarus due to the situation concerning migrants.

Poland's government spokesman, Piotr Müller, stated that several thousand representatives of special services have joined border guards. Additionally, it is known that starting tomorrow, Poland will close one of the border crossings with Belarus at Kuznica. The border can only be crossed at Terespol and Bobrowniki.
