Mine Discovered Near Yerevan Lake

On November 7, at 14:40, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that an anti-tank mine was noticed near Yerevan Lake, close to the bridge.

A combat unit from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Department, as well as the duty group from the collective center of civil protection forces, rushed to the scene.

The rescuers discovered a “TM-62” type anti-tank mine with a detonator and secured the area.

Mine clearance specialists transported the mine to the "Baghramyan" military training ground in the Armavir region for further disposal.
