Uncertainty Remains One of the Biggest Challenges in Artsakh: Tigran Abrahamyan

Uncertainty continues to be one of the biggest challenges in Artsakh. The clarification of Artsakh's status, which should be based on the exercise of the right to self-determination and its international recognition, must be a top priority.

This statement was made by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly's "I Have Honor" faction, on his Facebook page. This agenda should be reflected not in vague statements but within the framework of political, ideological, propaganda, and programmatic approaches in real life.

“Any Armenian living in Armenia, Artsakh, or the diaspora who has the will to fight and a desire to act should clearly understand their role in any potential scenario concerning Artsakh and Armenia. The goal of all healthy forces in Artsakh and Armenia, both political and non-political, should be to mobilize society ideologically, to lift the Armenian out of a fallen, broken, or defeated status and prepare them for a long-term struggle.

What Azerbaijan wants, thinks, or does is one side of the issue; our job is to understand what we will do. Our main obstacle is not Azerbaijan with its oil dollar resources and allies, but the established authority in Armenia, which, by ensuring Armenia's destruction, seeks to instill in the public the idea that Armenians lack the strength, resources, or will to win, and that the right approach is to adapt to the situation and make endless concessions.

The struggle for Armenia and Artsakh should be correctly planned over different time frames and entrenched in a targeted fight,” wrote Abrahamyan.
