Vaccination Process Always Ineffective During Pandemic, Doctor Says

Any pandemic prevention relies on vaccination, but the vaccination process is always ineffective during a pandemic. This was stated by therapist-cardiologist Lamara Manukyan during a conversation with journalists.

Manukyan explained that when getting vaccinated, we expect that protective antibodies will be produced to neutralize the virus, which requires time. In the case of coronavirus, there are still no adequate amounts of antibodies after the first dose of the vaccine; a stable immune response is achieved about 42 days after receiving the second dose.

The therapist noted that vaccinations only prevent mortality and do not absolutely stop transmissibility. Regarding the Minister of Health's statement that doctors promoting anti-vaccination campaigns are being dismissed, Manukyan assured that there isn't a doctor who is against vaccination, but it's important to look at the entire process.

“We tell a person to get vaccinated, and they get infected, worse yet, they fall ill immediately after vaccination because they were already infected before vaccination,” said Manukyan, adding that those vaccinated during the incubation period of the infection tend to experience much more severe symptoms than those who are not vaccinated. However, she noted that the vaccine itself cannot cause infection as it does not contain live virus.
