Shirak Governor Dismissed from Office

The Armenian government decided in its session today, November 4, to dismiss Shirak Governor Hovhannes Harutyunyan from his position. The decision states: ‘Guided by part 2 of Article 160 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and part 1 of Article 6 of the Law on Territorial Administration, the Government of the Republic of Armenia resolves to dismiss Hovhannes Harutyunyan from the position of Shirak Governor.’
