Iran Will Not Leave the Negotiation Table, Says Iranian President
Iran will not leave the negotiation table. This was stated by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, adding that Iran seeks results-based negotiations for the lifting of the U.S. harsh sanctions, as reported by Mehr.
“We will not in any way abandon the legitimate demands of the Iranian people or the cancellation of repressive sanctions,” Raisi said, one day after Iran's chief nuclear negotiator and Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani agreed to resume negotiations regarding the Iranian nuclear agreement on November 29.
Raisi declared that his administration will not wait for the results of negotiations and will exert all efforts to neutralize the impact of the sanctions.
