Investors Surprised by Engineers' Knowledge in Armenia, Says Prime Minister

During today's government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenian investors operating in the high-tech sector are surprised by the professional capabilities and knowledge of engineers in Armenia.

"They say that Armenian engineers not only do not lag behind their peers but, in many cases, have obvious greater potential and advantages. This increases Armenia's investment attractiveness," he noted.

The Prime Minister also mentioned that he shared other statistics with investors that should inspire them. "I was pleased to learn that when we conducted the teacher certification process, it turned out that the highest scores were achieved by mathematics teachers. This is a very positive fact, indicating that the strategy we have for the development of the technological sector has great potential. It remains for our highly qualified teachers to receive higher salaries," said the Prime Minister.
