VIDEO: Woman Wanted on Human Trafficking Charges Detained

As part of measures to combat illegal migration, officers from the main subdivision of the National Police and the Vagharshapat Police Department conducted checks on November 2 in several hotels within the service area of the Vagharshapat division, discovering dozens of foreign nationals residing without valid permits, residence status, and with invalid documents.

This was reported by the Police News Service. The individuals were presented to the administrative division, where administrative violation reports were drawn up.

Within the framework of the same operation, utilizing operational data received at the main subdivision of the National Police, a foreign citizen, a 61-year-old woman wanted internationally by the authorities of Moldova on charges of human trafficking, was detected and taken into custody at one of the hotels in Parakar village, with detention as a preventive measure.

Such operations are conducted regularly.
