Political Figures Should Stay Away from Discussion on Vaccinations, Human Rights Defender
The Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan believes that political figures should distance themselves from calls regarding vaccination or non-vaccination.
"The state should conduct proper communication with its citizens. Experts should carry out widespread awareness campaigns. In my opinion, political figures should stay as far away from this process as possible, because when a political figure speaks, it is clear that the opposing political rivals will react," he stated during a session in the National Assembly.
Tatoyan emphasized that only experts should be the ones communicating on this matter. The Human Rights Defender noted that the issue should be promoted through videos, social advertising, and international examples. "This way, citizens will not follow conspiracies; they will understand and be able to make an informed choice," Tatoyan said.
