Half of a Resident's Barn in Shurnukh Is Under Azerbaijani Control: This is Mockery of Humanity, Says Tatoyan

Azerbaijanis are unlawfully stopping Iranian citizens and even extracting payments from them. Our buses traveling with children are being held up and the children are being terrorized, stated Armenia's Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan at a press conference.

During the briefing, the Human Rights Defender pointed out on a map the home of Stepan Movsesyan in Shurnukh, highlighting that part of the barn remains under Azerbaijani control. "Can you imagine a country or an international organization that could deem this acceptable? This is more than mockery of humanity; it is a gross violation of human dignity," noted Arman Tatoyan.

He mentioned that in an area where children play daily, there are troops from three countries. This, from the perspective of children's rights, is also a violation, and it is condemnable that all of this is being overlooked. "In conditions of troops from three countries, can a child grow up in a normal environment?" the defender added.
