49 Individuals Incarcerated with COVID-19 in the 'Prison Hospital'
All correctional facilities have conducted sampling for the detection of COVID-19. Those with positive diagnoses in the Goris, Armavir, and 'Prison Hospital' correctional facilities have been transferred to a separate department of the 'Prison Hospital' for monitoring, reports the Correctional Service.
Currently, 49 individuals with positive diagnoses remain in the 'Prison Hospital' correctional facility under the supervision of doctors.
Additionally, it is reported that today a biological death was registered in a civil hospital for inmate G.K., born in 1980, from the Armavir Correctional Facility. This inmate was diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 31, transferred to the 'Prison Hospital' on November 1 at 15:00, and subsequently to the 'St. Grigor Lusavorich' civil hospital the same day at 17:45. Materials are being prepared to clarify the circumstances of the death, and a forensic examination has been appointed.
