Man Infected with Coronavirus Dies on Flight from Istanbul to Hamburg

A 51-year-old passenger has died on an Airbus A320 flight from Istanbul to Hamburg, who was infected with coronavirus. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the German newspaper Hamburger Abendblatt.

According to the online portal T-online, the plane landed in Hamburg at noon on October 25. A representative of the city's health department confirmed the death of one of the passengers. "He was found dead upon arrival in Hamburg," commented the representative.

The media also managed to obtain official confirmation that the deceased passenger's PCR test, conducted as part of a forensic examination, returned positive.

The airline has declined to provide further comments on the incident, emphasizing that police and health authorities are involved in the matter.
