Arzrun Hovhannisyan to Transition to New Position

The former spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Arzrun Hovhannisyan, is set to take on a new role in the National Assembly of Armenia. According to our sources, he will be appointed as an expert in the Permanent Commission on Defense, National Security, and Internal Affairs.

ArmLur.am attempted to verify this information with Hovhannisyan himself. In response, he stated, ‘I do not comment on your information,’ which did not confirm or deny the report.

Moreover, it is worth noting that, according to reports we have received, Hovhannisyan's appointment has been resolved; only technical questions remain, and he will be transitioning to work in the National Assembly. Additionally, there is a possibility that he will also be involved in the activities of the commission that will investigate the circumstances of the 44-day war.
