Karapetian Presents Situation at Armenian-Azerbaijani Border to Georgian Counterpart

On November 2, a two-day official visit to Armenia was made by a delegation led by Georgian Minister of Defense Juansher Burchuladze. Following the official welcoming ceremony at the Administrative Complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, a private conversation took place between the heads of the defense departments of both countries, followed by a meeting with extended delegations.

The Armenian Minister of Defense welcomed the guest and presented the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. During the discussions, the need for establishing full peace and sustainable development in the region was emphasized by both sides.

The meeting also addressed various issues concerning international and regional security challenges, as well as cooperation between the two countries in the defense sector.

As part of the visit, the delegation led by Georgian Minister of Defense Juansher Burchuladze will also visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial to pay tribute to the memory of the canonized martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.
