Baku Plans to Purchase JF-17 Thunder Fighters from Pakistan

Azerbaijan is interested in acquiring JF-17 Thunder fighter jets from Pakistan. This was stated by Mehman Novruzov, the military attaché of the Azerbaijani embassy in Pakistan, according to dunyanews.

“The acquisition of JF-17 Thunder aircraft from Pakistan is a key point on our agenda,” said Novruzov. He noted that Baku aims to purchase the JF-17 Block 3 aircraft. He emphasized that Azerbaijan is working with Pakistan on the modernization of its air force.
