Russian Army Will Soon Have the Advanced S-500 Missile System, Says Putin

The Russian army will soon acquire the advanced S-500 missile system. This was announced by President Vladimir Putin, as reported by РИА Новости.

“In the coming years, more than 200 aircraft and 26 S-350 and S-400 air defense systems, as well as the first serial sample of the S-500 missile system, will be supplied to the troops,” said Putin during a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and representatives of the defense-industrial complex.

Putin also emphasized that the format of military consultations held in Sochi allows for a comprehensive analysis of the state of Russia's defense capabilities and makes it possible to timely adjust the army and navy modernization programs when necessary.
