Trains Collide in England

In England, near Salisbury, two trains have collided with each other. This was reported on Twitter by the Wiltshire police.

The Independent reports that the accident occurred in the tunnel between Salisbury and Andover. There is currently no official information regarding casualties.

BBC states that up to 12 people could have been affected by the accident, and the driver of one of the trains is trapped in the cabin.

Sky, citing emergency services, reports that 50 firefighters have been dispatched to the scene. The agency has classified the incident as a "major accident." The British Transport Police has mentioned that doctors are working at the collision site.
