Fatal Accident in Yerevan: Subaru Hits Pedestrian and Collides with Another Vehicle
On October 31, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 12:30 PM, 29-year-old Hrachya Hayrapetyan, a resident of Yerevan, lost control of his Subaru vehicle in yet undetermined circumstances, leaving the roadway at the address Rostovyan 9/2. The car collided with the edge of a gas station owned by "Black Gold Oil" LLC, after which it struck 58-year-old Hrachik Hovsepyan, a pedestrian from Yerevan. The vehicle then collided with a Mitsubishi parked by 51-year-old Vardan Aleksanyan, causing that car to move forward and hit a GAZ-330202 truck parked by 25-year-old Vahagn Khampapyan, also from Yerevan.
According to Shamshyan.com, Hovsepyan, who was struck, was rushed to one of Yerevan’s hospitals by an ambulance that arrived at the scene with a critically serious diagnosis. Unfortunately, the pedestrian did not regain consciousness and was pronounced dead.
A criminal case has been initiated concerning the incident.
