The Number of Child Deaths After Covid-19 Has Increased, Says Sobyanin
The number of deaths among children after Covid-19 has increased. This was announced by the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, during a broadcast on the 'Russia 1' television channel.
'Children with chronic illnesses are suffering gravely. We are seeing that the mortality rate among children has also risen,' he stated.
As the Deputy Mayor for Social Development, Anastasia Rakova, mentioned the day before, around a thousand children are getting infected with Covid-19 daily in the capital. Previously, this figure fluctuated between 200 to 300.
