Russian Blogger Sentenced to 5 Years for Filming Secret Objects

A Russian blogger named Andrey Pizha has been sentenced to five years in prison, according to НТВ. The man was found guilty of illegally obtaining information containing state secrets.

Pizha discussed various secret objects in Russia and neighboring countries on his YouTube channel, Urbanturizm. The blogger visited abandoned construction sites and bunkers, nuclear reactors, and atomic boiler plants, documenting them.

According to the investigation, between 2018 and 2020, Andrey gathered information about former secret underground facilities in Moscow.
