Who Will Be Able to Enter the U.S. After November 8

The White House has outlined who will be able to enter the U.S. after November 8, when the entry restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 will be lifted.

Currently, the U.S. travel ban applies to dozens of countries, including the UK, much of Europe, China, and India, but it does not apply to Russia; it is now possible to depart for the United States from Russia.

Under the new changes effective November 8, travelers wishing to enter the U.S. must be vaccinated with one of the vaccines approved by either the World Health Organization or U.S. regulatory authorities.

In a document signed by President Joe Biden on October 25, it is stated that airlines are required to verify the vaccination status of travelers before boarding flights to the U.S. Additionally, all travelers are required to present a negative COVID-19 test result before entering the U.S., which also applies to U.S. citizens and green card holders.
