The General Staff and NSS Discuss the Area Known as Pela Mountain: Seyran Ohanyan Shares Details from a Closed Meeting

In a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly, Seyran Ohanyan, the leader of the "Armenia" faction, stated that the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Kamo Kochunts, and the Commander of the NSS Border Troops, Arman Maralchyan, assured that there have been no changes in the positions in the area known as Pela Mountain in the Syunik region.

"They say that there have been no changes in the positions. According to them, there used to be a Russian position between the Armenian and Azerbaijani outposts in the Pela Mountain area. However, by the decision of the Russian side, the Russian position has been removed," said Ohanyan. According to the former Minister of Defense, it would be advisable to go and see everything on the ground under parliamentary supervision and verify the situation.
