In Which Cases You Can Not Wear a Mask Indoors: Minister's Order

The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention has presented the order No. 23-N of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia regarding the conditions for wearing masks in enclosed spaces.

The announcement specifically states: “Wearing masks in enclosed spaces is mandatory for everyone, except for:

  1. Children aged 0-5 years inclusive.
  2. Individuals in their place of residence (at home, apartment).
  3. Speakers and direct participants at protocol events held under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Catholicos of All Armenians, the Prime Minister, the President of the National Assembly, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council (except for journalists and service personnel).
  4. Individuals traveling in personal motor vehicles (excluding those engaged in irregular passenger transportation).
  5. Individuals performing sign language interpretation during television broadcasts.
  6. Individuals with varying degrees of hearing and speech impairments (who perceive speech by following lip movements) and those working with them.
  7. During smoking, drinking, and eating.
  8. Other cases specified by sanitary rules approved by the Minister of Health.
  9. Television presenters when they are alone in the television studio during broadcasts of programs and shows.
  10. Individuals with mental disorders and behavioral disorders.
  11. Individuals with cognitive impairments.
  12. Individuals with facial injuries or those who have undergone maxillofacial interventions.
