57 Deaths: A Disturbing Record Caused by Anahit Avanesyan, Says Daniel Ioannissian

Daniel Ioannissian, coordinator of the programs at the Caucasus Institute, writes on his Facebook page: "Yesterday 57 people died from the coronavirus. This is a disturbing record that we owe to Anahit Avanesyan.

This is a tragedy. This death rate approaches the number of casualties during wartime on the front lines. The first responsible and guilty party for this tragedy is the government which has failed public communication regarding vaccination, represented by Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan.

Our vaccination rates are horrifically low compared to all countries in the region and have declined to the level of African banana republics.

Every country has groups spreading disinformation against vaccination, but governments organize their public communication in such a way that people do not believe in these nonsense claims. In Armenia, not only is that not happening, but the Minister of Health speaks in a way that even those who are willing to get vaccinated start to have doubts.

P.S. And Government's Public Relations Agency, are you there? Besides sharing pro-government statuses, are you capable of anything else?"
