Pedestrian Accident in Yerevan: Driver Claims to be Bank Manager

Yerevan's patrol police are investigating a pedestrian accident that occurred on October 20. According to Vardan Baghdasaryan, a senior investigator at the traffic incident investigation division of the Yerevan police, materials are being prepared regarding the incident.

As reported by Shamshyan.com, on that day at approximately 20:50, a 33-year-old resident of Yerevan, Armen Gevorgyan, hit a pedestrian, 22-year-old Karen Sargsyan, from Armavir Province, with his Honda vehicle in front of 133 David Bek Street. The driver did not flee the scene and assisted the injured individual in being transported to the “Erebuni” medical center, where swift medical action managed to save the young man’s life.

According to Г. Shamshyan, driver A. Gevorgyan informed the authorities that he works as a manager at the closed joint-stock company “Hayekonombank.”
