We Got Confused and Ended Up on the Road Handed Over to Azerbaijan. Vahram Mirakyan

Facebook user Vahram Mirakyan wrote on his Facebook page:  “This is the checkpoint set up by Azerbaijan in the Vorotan area: Russian authorities allow Armenian vehicles to pass only every hour, while Iranian trucks are stuck in a huge queue. Likewise, on the Tatev road, there were Iranian vehicles stuck in the mud. This means that those who didn’t want to pay Azerbaijan to gain access through Armenia and stand in line for hours had a very difficult time moving forward. And the worst part is that there are no proper road signs indicating how to go, where to go, and so on, either going or coming back. We went by asking questions, and upon return, we got confused and ended up on the road handed over to Azerbaijan, as there were no road signs anywhere. I assume many Iranians can end up in the same situation. To sum up, it’s utter negligence.”
