Four British Tourists Travel to La Palma Volcano for Selfie

Four British tourists have traveled to La Palma volcano to take selfies, circumventing police checkpoints, reports NYP.

The men posed for photos near the area where hot lava flows from the erupting Cumbre Vieja.

One member of the group shared a photo, stating, "We had to hide to bypass the army and police. It was a full mission with checkpoints, search points, and dogs in the dark."

It is believed that the men arrived by boat from Tenerife. According to local media, they may now face legal action for endangering their lives and the lives of security personnel.
