Body of 17-Year-Old Girl Missing for Two Days Found

On October 21, a tragic incident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 09:30 AM, the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call from the police department of Ashtarak, reporting the discovery of a body under the Ashtarak bridge in the Ashtarak gorge.

According to photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan, the firefighters from Ashtarak's number 19 rescue squad arrived at the scene, led by Deputy Commander Artak Shamiryan.

In connection with the incident, an investigative group has been formed by the order of S. Simonian, with H. Hovhannisyan appointed as the group leader, who is preparing materials regarding the case.

Police and investigators have established that the deceased is 17-year-old Greta A., a resident of Aragatsotn region, who had been reported missing by her family and the police department of Ashtarak for two days.

According to information from the photo journalist, a note was found near her, stating: “Do not blame anyone in my step, I am going where I am awaited.”
