The ruling party has decided to spare no expense or resources: 'Hraparak'

The newspaper 'Hraparak' writes: 'The results of the local self-government elections have forced the authorities to tighten their strategy, as there are still two phases of these elections to go. Regional structures have already been instructed to spare no money or resources and to reconsider the feasibility of nominating certain candidates.

For example, the structures in Ararat are confident that if Garik Sargsyan, a crocodile specialist, is nominated in Vedi, the outcome will be similar to that in Gyumri and Goris. The same holds true for Vanadzor and Kapan.'

On the other hand, no reputable person has agreed to stand for election on the ruling party's list. According to our information, until now, the ruling party has been unable to find a suitable candidate in the consolidated Ararat community, as everyone has declined. They are currently negotiating with a well-known figure in the region, Norik (Ziko) Ghazaryan's nephew.

Norik Ghazaryan, who is close to the Sargsyan brothers, has a cement factory in Ararat, which, however, has not been operational for years due to his opposition stance against the former authorities. But he has also refused to become Nikol Pashinyan's candidate. At least, we were told that these individuals have not accepted the government's proposal yet.'
