Seven Recount Applications Received: CEC

According to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), applications for recounting the results of voting in the local self-government elections held on October 17, 2021, or for declaring the election results void could be submitted to the relevant territorial electoral commissions until October 19, at 11:00 AM.

During the established period, the number 34 Territorial Electoral Commission (based in Goris) received a total of 7 applications for a recount of the voting results from the electoral areas of the Tatev community: 34/20, 34/21, 34/22, 34/23, 34/24, 34/25, and from the Goris community: 34/12.

The Territorial Electoral Commission also decided to initiate a recount on its own initiative for polling stations 34/19 in the Tatev community and 34/27 in the Tegh community.

No applications have been received regarding declaring the voting results void from the territorial electoral commissions.

The recount will begin today at 14:00 by the number 34 Territorial Electoral Commission.
