Clerics Living in Dadivank Have Been Trapped There for 6 Months: Bishop Bagrat

Our people live in a physically and spiritually heavy and difficult situation. But the entire people, the nation, is not like that; I do not want us to deceive ourselves. A part of the nation feels this way—the conscious part. This was stated by His Grace Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the Tavush Diocese, during a sermon at the Holy Gevorg Cathedral of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church in the USA.

“It is little, but it is just enough to win. Little is the truth, and little is the victorious. During the days of war, you lived every moment not only with pain but also with the vision of victory. This must not end. The vision of VICTORY must not terminate, regardless of where we currently stand. Our MOTHER is sick today, wounded, but not dead. We have no right to kill her. Visit, return home. My plea to you is that today is the time, if not fully, then at least return to Armenia more often, return to Artsakh,” he noted.

Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan spoke during the sermon about the clerics living in Dadivank, who, according to the bishop, have been trapped there for six months. “They have not come out for six months; they are trapped, and entry and exit are prohibited. Our spiritual brothers are engaged in such a heroic battle while being held captive in Dadivank.”
