Children Among COVID-19 Infected in Artsakh
On October 18, 142 tests were conducted, resulting in 31 new cases of coronavirus in Artsakh, including 2 children. Currently, 90 infected individuals are receiving inpatient treatment. Doctors assess the condition of 12 patients as extremely severe, 42 as severe, while mild cases are being treated on an outpatient basis.
Of the infected, 28 are residents of Stepanakert, 2 from Martakert, and 1 from Askeran regions.
Throughout 2021, 14,685 citizens were tested for the laboratory detection of the coronavirus, with approximately 1,400 reporting positive test results.
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh again urges adherence to guidelines to avoid new outbreaks and to overcome the coronavirus infection as soon as possible. It is essential for the population of the republic to get vaccinated against COVID-19 to protect their health and that of their loved ones.
Vaccinations against COVID-19 are being carried out at the outpatient-polyclinic division of the Republican Medical Center of the Ministry of Health of Artsakh, as well as in the 'Arevik' and regional healthcare facilities.
