VIDEO: Struck a man's head with a bat during a dispute, then stabbed him in the chest

On the night of October 16, the Artashat Medical Center alerted the police department of Artashat, reporting that a young man had been admitted with stab wounds but had not regained consciousness and had died. This was announced by the Police.

The operational group, which arrived at the medical facility, identified the victim. The 30-year-old man was a resident of Dalar village and had been transferred to the hospital from Dalar itself.

Criminal investigators who went to the village, in collaboration with officers from the Ararat regional department and Masis division, conducted operational measures and established that, according to preliminary data, the incident occurred on Saghatelian Street in the village, where a dispute had taken place. During this, one of the participants struck the 30-year-old man on the head with a bat and then stabbed him in the chest with a knife.

The 20-year-old suspect, also a resident of Dalar, was quickly located and taken to the police department of Artashat, then presented to the investigating authority for the case and was detained.

The police have found the bat, which was used in the crime, and measures are being taken to locate the knife. The investigation into the murder case is ongoing.
