Details of 4000 Hay Bales Burning in Yeraskh Due to Gunfire

On October 16, at 23:02, the Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that fodder was burning in the village of Yeraskh. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

A team of three firefighting units from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 02:48 on October 17 and extinguished by 10:57. Approximately 4000 hay bales were burnt.

Earlier, the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, stated that the fire broke out due to gunfire from Azerbaijani armed forces. A similar incident occurred two days prior, resulting in the burning of 8000 hay bales.
