24-Year-Old Driver Crashes Mercedes into Tow Truck Near Noragavit Checkpoint

Today, October 17, a serious car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 00:40, 24-year-old Avag Sahakyan lost control of his Mercedes vehicle, veering off the roadway and crashing into a parked Ford Transit tow truck in front of the now-defunct traffic police checkpoint known to the public in Noragavit.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver A. Sahakyan sustained injuries and was transported to the "Erebuni" Medical Center.

In connection with the incident, materials are being prepared by H. Petrosyan. The police are working to establish the complete details of the Mercedes driver and the owner of the tow truck.
