An extraordinary incident has occurred in the Ararat region. According to shamshyan.com, at around 12:15 PM, the emergency situations ministry's rescue service received a report about a fire in one of the houses on Griboedov Street in Dalar village.

Two fire-rescue units from the Artashat fire department quickly arrived on the scene. According to preliminary information from a photojournalist, the house in question was set ablaze by unknown individuals, and it belongs to 20-year-old Seryozha Simonian, who has been arrested on suspicion of murdering 30-year-old Gevorg Petrosyan from his village.

Police units from the Ararat regional police department, as well as officers from Artashat, Ararat, and Masis, have arrived in the village, since villagers briefly prohibited firefighters from approaching the site of the fire.

Numerous officers from the Special Investigation Service of the Armenian Police are also present, known to the public as the 'black berets.' Currently, firefighters are working on-site, but the situation in the village remains tense.

Villagers report that the deceased was one of the most respected and beloved young men in the community, known for having no negative traits, and there is shock and confusion over the circumstances of his murder.

According to G. Shamsyan, it was recently reported that Ararat Regional Police Chief Grisha Amirxanov was dismissed from service by a directive from the head of the Armenian Police, Major General Vahe Ghazaryan.
