Lavrov Receives Velvet Cloak Gifted with Golden Embroidery

Russia's Foreign Minister has been presented with a national garment, with Lavrov referred to as the 'Marshal of Countrymen'.

Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, was gifted a black velvet cloak adorned with golden embroidery at the World Congress of Russian Compatriots, according to gazeta.ru.

It was noted that one of the event participants, who had arrived from Israel, stated: 'And to you, who does so much for cooperation and peace in the world, as the Marshal of Countrymen, this is a gift,' as he handed over the present.
