COVID-19 Deaths on the Rise

As of October 16, 11:00 AM, a total of 280,294 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, of which 253,146 have recovered, and 5,754 have resulted in death.

Currently, 20,161 patients are receiving actual treatment for the virus. In total, 1,874,598 tests have been performed. Yesterday, 19,360 tests were conducted, resulting in 1,863 new cases of COVID-19. We have recorded 935 recoveries and 41 deaths.

On the previous day, there was 1 death recorded where the patient had a COVID-19 infection, but the death was attributed to another illness. The total number of such cases is 1,233.
