Japanese political scientist TsukubaItsuro Nakamura has expressed the opinion that Olympic champion Alina Zagitova has the potential to become the wife of Russian President Vladimir Putin. His remarks were quoted by InoProSport.ru.

Nakamura shared his thoughts during a discussion between Zagitova and journalist Rustam Imamov that took place in Kazan. Zagitova, demanding the removal of photos, threatened the journalist with her connections. According to the political scientist, Russian athletes who are entrusted with power live in luxury and without problems.

“Zagitova's ultimate goal is to marry President Putin. This is my assumption. The President's press secretary Mr. Peskov is married to Tatiana Navka, who became famous in the 1990s for figure skating. She is Alina Zagitova's producer,” said Nakamura.

It is worth noting that Sport-Express journalist Rustam Imamov stated that Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova had demanded the removal of photos taken with him during the Kazan meeting of Ak Bars and Metallurg Magnitogorsk and had threatened him with legal action. Zagitova denied this information.
