Men from Nearby Villages Have Taken Positions to Assist Soldiers if Needed: MP

“At the moment, the gunfire has ceased, and the situation is under the control of the Artsakh Defense Army and Russian peacekeepers. I have spoken with the residents, and there is no panic among them; they are occupied with their daily activities,” said Metakse Hakobyan, a member of the National Assembly of Artsakh from the “Justice” faction, in an interview with 24News.

“Late last night, gunfire was heard in various parts of Artsakh, particularly from Shushi towards the Karmir Shuka neighborhood. Last night, I received information that men from nearby villages have taken positions to assist the soldiers if necessary. These positions are located between Nor Shen and Harav villages, with Harav situated in the Askeran region and Nor Shen in Martuni,” she informed.

It should be noted that on the evening of October 14, the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire towards a combat outpost of the Artsakh Defense Army located in the eastern border area of the Republic of Artsakh, resulting in six servicemen sustaining firearm injuries.
