Enemy Opens Fire on Harav Village, Men Prepared for Defense - Village Head
The situation in the Harav village of the Askeran region of the Republic of Artsakh is calm, life is proceeding normally, and there is no panic. After 1:00 AM last night, Russian peacekeepers ascended to their positions and remained there for 15 to 20 minutes, after which no shots were fired until now,” stated Andranik Ghazaryan, the head of Harav village, in an interview with 24News.
“The gunfire in the positions lasted more than an hour and was last heard at around 12:30 AM. The village was not harmed; the shooting occurred in the positions. The men of the village were ready to respond, poised to protect the village in case of any incidents. Until 3:00 AM, we were with the men from the village at the checkpoints in the elevated areas, waiting to defend the village if anything took place,” the village head mentioned.
It is important to note that on the evening of October 14, Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on the direction of a combat post located at the eastern border of the Republic of Artsakh, resulting in six servicemen sustaining gunshot wounds.
