VIDEO: The Good News Is That There Is No Market to Collapse, Premier Joked

“International attempts are increasingly negative regarding the establishment of a national airline with state participation. The greatest concern here is that we can ensure equal opportunities for the companies that exist, are currently operating, and those who wish to enter the market. Generally, state-participated airlines have little success. Examples include ‘Alitalia’ or ‘Air France.’ It is very important to adhere to the rules of the game, especially by regulatory bodies. Because if the state aspect is utilized, the existing market will collapse,” said Minister of High-Tech Industry Vahagn Khachaturyan at a government meeting today, October 14.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded to the minister's comments, stating, “The good news is that there is no market to collapse; it is simultaneously both good news and bad news.”
