Worrisome Data: 3042 Accidents Registered in Armenia Over a Few Months, 246 Dead and 4051 Injured

There is hardly a day in Yerevan and the roads of Armenia without accidents being reported. It is fortunate when these accidents do not result in fatalities or injuries. Auroranews presents statistical data provided by Armstat.am regarding traffic accidents that have occurred in Armenia.

Statistics cover the period from the beginning of the year up to August, and we will ensure to keep you updated with new figures as they become available.

From January to August 2021, a total of 3042 traffic accidents were registered in the republic. There were 246 fatalities and 4051 injuries. In August alone, 407 accidents were recorded, resulting in 47 deaths and 605 injuries.
