Take Action Against Iran: Israel's Prime Minister's Call
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has urged the United Nations Security Council to take measures against Iran in light of the escalation of its nuclear program, reports AP. Speaking at a conference held in Jerusalem, Bennett stated that Iran's behavior is "a challenge for every country and is subject to global accountability."
He conveyed arguments to other leaders, including President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, stating that Iran is "violating fundamental international obligations under the already breached nuclear deal of 2015." Bennett expressed his expectation that world powers will bring Iran to the UN Security Council and hold it accountable.
"This would be a peaceful way forward... There are also other avenues," he warned, "but that is the right one. And I will continue to monitor them in the coming weeks and months."
